ABOUT ME
My name is Peter, and I own a photo studio in Bussum. I use my creativity and graphic design degree to capture everything that deserves extra attention, as I see it. Since 2017, landscapes and macro photography have been my primary subjects. In the summer of 2024, I decided that Dutch nature (besides macro) wasn't appealing enough for me, so I started focusing on capturing women's curves, as they've always held my deepest interest. Now I also offer portrait sessions. Respect and the safety of the model are my top priorities!

 It was my first swimsuit shoot, although the weather is quite cold, but we have a fairly good setset light. I appreciated that you taught me how to pose, so we could make fabulous photo's toghether :-) But be careful about those little kids who talk about OF accounts and hot sand is hard to walk on. It was a nice shoot with you!

 Ik heb mijn eerste shoot gehad met Peter en kijk nu al naar de volgende. De communicatie voor de shoot was erg vriendelijk en duidelijk. Ik wist precies waar ik op kon rekenen en ook hebben we op respectvolle wijze poses besproken. Daar gaat Peter zeker goed mee om; hij respecteerd en luisterd naar je grenzen qua poses/stijlen. Verder was de shoot zelf erg gezellig, het ging soepel met een goede dosis humor. Ook de resultaten zijn supertof. Dus ik raad Peter absoluut aan als fotograaf, ook voor nudemodellen!

 I had a really lovely experience working with Peter - He's talented and easygoing photographer who creates a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere on set. It was a true pleasue to colabborate with someone so open to ideas and creativity. We had a great flow throughout the session and managed to capture some beautiful moments tohether.  Eerlijk gezegd was ik wat zenuwachtig. Hij gaf me het gevoel dat hij verwachtingen had. Eenmaal ik toekwam stond hij buiten te wachten. Eigelijk was ik al snel op mijn gemak. Hij gaf me zelf de keuze welke outfit ik wou aandoen. Hij gaf me tips tijdens het shooten en probeerde ook zaken uit. Hij kan lachen, is rustig en beleefd. Hij is perfectionistisch, maar zodra ik de foto's zag was ik verbaasd. Aangename shoot en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

 Gisteren een hele fijne shoot gehad met Peter! Het ging lekker makkelijk en hij gaf goede tips en aanwijzingen voor als je nog niet veel ervaring hebt of vast loopt. Er hangt ook een fijne en gezellige sfeer. Overall een fijne experience en zou het zeker aanraden en nog een keer doen!

 Vlotte samenwerking, goede en vlotte communicatie op voorhand. Peter had een goed moodboard op voorhand samengesteld waardoor de shoot vlot ging.

 I arrived in Peter's home studio where he offered me water and made sure that I'm comfortable. During the shoot he also helped m adjusting the poses and encouraged to experiment with the materials and items I brought. the pictures turned out nice and I recommend him for a portrait photoshoot!

F.A.Q

What about clothing?

We discuss clothing days before the shoot. You can lay items on your bed to show me. Artnude shoot also need some items for that little extra people will remember. Items should be suitable for a photoshoot like no prints/logo's or with no busy paterns. The colours must match the vibe and my backdrops.

Do I need experience in modelling?

I'm not gonna lie. It come in handy to know the basics like where hands go, how to turn your body, turn towards the light etc. BUT, I'll guide you along the way in a relaxt manner. A quick learner is welcome. 

What do you know about making a good image?

I had an education to become a grafic designer and earned a diploma in 2002. Before that period I draw a lot such as comics and (creepy) fantasy figures on everything I can draw on like schoolbooks en tables. Now I don't draw anymore since I finished school. I picked up a camera in 2017 and became creative again.

Do you have backdrops?

Yes as right now I have 5 roles of coloured paper (white, black, yellow sandmint green), 3 sheets and wallpaper (black-grey)+red woodlook. I add of get rid of backdrops ones in a while for some variation. There are two on the way to my studio: red and petrol. 

Do you travel for shoots?

Not that far. The area I will do homeshoots/outsideshoots is "middle Netherlands". From the coast to Arnhem - Purmerend to Den Bosch. At the moment I don't ask travelscosts but in a later stadium I will traver futher and ask for compensation. 

What about pay?

You pay me directly after the shoots end. At the moment it's just 50 euro for how long it takes for me to be done (2-3 hours max). This amount will get higher after a few months.

Do you work save?

Yes, I do not without permission touch you to help you with a pose or to fix clothing. Nor will I harass you in any way. You can always say no to suggestions I make! There (studio or homeshoot) will be music playing for a relaxt time. And I will annouce a fix I need to make for a better shot. In my studio is a space to change clothes if you like that. I will not stare at you during the shoot, that would be awkward.

Can I bring a friend?

Yeas you can! Everything is an option for you to be more at ease. So bring a friend, familymember or mua. Only one due to my small studio. Otherwise I have no space to move.

Communication?

I communicatie in Dutch and English. Mostly via Instagram but Whatsapp is fine too. Via email is also possible but they have to be complete, so no endless conversation.

How do you work?

I always chat a bit before the shoot so we get used to each other, and after the shoot I like to factors I have to take care of/notice) but I'll make jokes to relax the model(s). I don't talk your ears of or move fast to scare you. I like to smile and make fun.
